Abstract
This study was carried out to examine the role of library and promotion of freedom of
information in Cross River State Broadcasting Corporation. To achieve this purpose, two
research questions were formulated for the study. The study adopted a descriptive survey
design with a population of 123 Professional Staff in the Cross River Broadcasting
Corporation. The instrument for data collection was titled: “Information Management
Practice as Instrument for Promotion of Freedom of Information Questionnaire”
